GoDirect Company History
Working directly with the MSO GoDirect has provided Splicing, Sweep, Certification Services, and Quality Control, on over 20,000 miles of plant since 1998.
The company was built by Michael Simpkins and Robert Ahlum. Collectively Robert and Michael have more than fifty years of experience in the sweep and splicing of cable television networks. They were both sweeping two way dual plant in Time Warner's Qube Network in Cincinnati, OH in the early 1980's. Robert went on to own and operate a splicing company in the late 1980's and early 1990's. In addition to sweep and splicing, Michael is an experienced commercial pilot and flight instructor. Michael worked as a leakage flyover pilot at a small engineering firm from 1990 to 1994.
